Most of the time, I don’t have my camera with me. Running a business [more than] full time and trying desperately to maintain some sort of active lifestyle with my dogs doesn’t leave a ton of time for creative endeavors (though I do try as hard as I can to update this blog regularly and keep pushing forward with things I want to learn.)
This weekend I did shoot – a friend of mine got married and asked me to come to San Diego to shoot some after-ceremony pictures at the San Diego courthouse with her friends and family. While I edit those, however, I figured it’s a good time to maybe delve into some of the pictures I have that weren’t taken necessarily with the creative in mind, but rather ones that were taken out of simply wanting to record something as a memory with the one tool everyone has handy: their phone.
While not the most ideal camera, the iPhone camera is always with me so it gets to go a lot of place I wouldn’t normally consider bringing my big camera.
Most of all, it acts as sort of an every day diary for me though much less formal than this blog.
These photos are all unedited and may not win any Pulitzer’s but they do bring back memories of the exact time and place and feeling of when I took them.
So yeah, sometimes iPhone.
