Timelapse: Eastern Sierra Mountains 2

This one is from the last six months give or take, and some of it is shot in Big Bear which I will firmly argue is part of the eastern Sierras. The feedback from my last one was to get rid of the black bars, but I had such a hard time with exporting, viewing, testing, wrestling with Adobe Premiere (which I don’t know how to use) that getting it to play smoothly and without crazy interlacing was a good enough success for me.

Locations include: White Mountains, Mono Hot Springs, Big Bear, Mono Lake / Bodie area, and Bishop Creek.

Shot with a d800 and a D3s, which at one point was swallowed by a river in Yosemite and placed into emergency rice and after three days rose from the dead. So now I call it Zombie Jesus D3s. Relatedly that’s why there’s no timelapses of anything in Yosemite.
