Yosemite Valley as the storm rolls in, April 2016

April 2016 Yosemite d3s2016DSC_4687

I’m still editing the dozen or so timelapses from the last few months. Today I realized I shot about six of them on a Nikon d800 in Raw format. For those of you unfamiliar, the d800 is such an ultimate landscape body because its sensor is massive. What that means is each photo is about 20-30 MB. Each. Photo.

So I’ll be rendering for a while. Until then, enjoy this Tunnel View photo I took earlier this month. I’m heading back to Yosemite Valley this weekend for some R&R, because I can’t seem to stay put when springtime is calling.
